club championships OCT 2016
Another sunny day in October and another great day of competition. The 2016 Championships were convincingly won by Newmarket centre. It was a back to back win for Newmarket and coach, Instructor Shirly with 7 gold, the next closest sitting at 4 gold. Interestingly, the battle for 2nd place was decided on the silver medal count with Indooroopilly (4 gold/1 silver) and The Gap (4 gold/4 silver), a close match considering Kenmore (3 gold) was only one gold away from conceivably ousting Indooroopilly from the podium. All centres put in a strong showing and congratulations to all for a hard battle.
