SUN BAE ANNUAL AWARDS

STUDENT OF THE YEAR (points based)	Based upon a points system for each student over the entire year. Maximum number of points is 60. Students are rewarded points for the following: * class attendance (11 points) * gradings attendance (4points) * grading results (8 points) * compete at Sun Bae Championships (11 points) * points awarded by coach for general attitude, helpfulness & etiquette, good spirit, etc. (20 points) * other (6) (see coach for further details)  Overall Winner: trophy Runner/s up: trophy
SUN BAE AWARD	Same as student of the year award. This award is presented to those who did not qualify to be nominated for Student of the Year, but still performed above expectation: Overall Winner: trophy Runner/s up: trophy
TECHNICAL IMPROVEMENT AWARD	Students must be nominated by their instructor. Winner must have shown technical improvement during year due to increased dedication: Overall Winner: trophy Runner/s up: trophy
TECHNICAL EXCELLENCE AWARD	Students who receive grading honours results on multiple occasions during the year are eligible for this award. A perfect score (ie honours at every grading) will receive the winners trophy: Overall Winner: trophy Runner/s up: trophy

SUN BAE CHAMPIONSHIP AWARDS

INDIVIDUAL PATTERN OVERALL CHAMPION	Overall champion for each coloured belt division: White Yellow Blue Red Black Overall Winner: trophy presented at Awards Night
TEAM MEDAL	1st - 2nd - 3rd team place. Medal awarded to each team member: Overall Winner: trophy presented at Awards Night
INDIVIDUAL PATTERN DIVISION WINNER	Total of 19 patterns divisions (age & colour belt) Overall Winner: gold 2nd place: silver 3rd place: bronze
INDIVIDUAL HIGHEST KICK	Divisions for age &  gender Overall Winner: gold 2nd place: silver 3rd place: bronze Presented on Championship day
INDIVIDUAL TILE BREAK (Black Belts Only)	Divisions for age &  gender Overall Winner: gold 2nd place: silver 3rd place: bronze Presented on Championship day
