Today, the progress of Taekwondo in the world is regulated by the World Taekwondo Federation from Kukkiwon (World Headquarters) in South Korea which has a membership of over 150 countries and over 70 million members worldwide. The South Korean government recognises the WTF as its only official Taekwondo Association. All Sun Bae students and Instructors are members of WTF.
